New X-Fi Forte Driver Restores Automode Switcher Settings, Delivers DTS Connect on Windows 7
Santa Clara, CA: Auzentech, Inc (www.auzentech.com) announced today the immediate availability of the Multi-Driver for the X-Fi™ Forte 7.1 sound card. The multi-Driver is compatible with Windows® 7, XP, and Vista 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems.
According to sources at Auzentech, this update restores the "Automode Switcher" application list and settings upon reboot. Like the Windows 7 driver released on July 10th, this driver also delivers DTS™ Connect capability to Winodws 7 users in addition to the previously supported Windows® Vista.

An Open Letter for X-Plosion and X-Mystique Owners Using Windows XP or Vista
Dear Auzentech Customers:
Yesterday we updated drivers for the X-Plosion 7.1 Cinema and X-Mystique 7.1 Gold sound cards. Since then, a few of customers have discovered a new bug in the XP and Vista drivers which our testing had not revealed. Therefore, we have decided to withdraw the XP and Vista drivers pending further investigation. We apologize for the inconvenience.
If you are a Windows® Vista or XP user who installed the driver, we suggest that you uninstall it and replace it with the previous version. We are communicating with the chipset manufacturer regarding the problem and expect to have it addressed soon.

Auzentech to Release DTS™ Connect for X-Fi™ Forte in Early February
Santa Clara, CA: Auzentech, Inc (www.auzentech.com) announced today that DTS® Connect will be available for the new X-Fi™ Forte 7.1 sound card in early February. DTS™ will be available for Windows Vista®.
"This is a slight delay that came as a surprise to all of us," said Auzentech President Mr. Stephane Bae. "We had planned to post the DTS™ driver this week."
The new release schedule is due to a licensing agreement between two of Auzentech's partners. That agreement will be in place in early February. At that time, the DTS™ driver will be available for download.
DTS Connect™, DTS Interactive™, and DTS Neo:PC™ surround sound technologies will be available to X-Fi™ Forte customers who use Windows Vista®. Dolby™ Digital Live surround sound technology is already included in the driver.

A real-time encoding technology, Dolby® Digital Live converts any audio signal into a Dolby Digital bitstream for transport and playback through a home theater system. With it, your PC or game console can be hooked up to your Dolby Digital-equipped audio/video receiver or digital speaker system via a single digital connection.
The release of the Auzen X-FI™ Prelude 7.1 soundcard earlier this year marked the first time Creative had permitted a third-party soundcard vendor to use the Creative X-FI™ chipset in its own soundcard design. The X-Fi Prelude fully supports EAX 5.0, the premier technology for 3-D audio effects diring game play. Upcoming driver updates will add additional surround sound technologies to the soundcard.
