NOTE
* Test result can differ as to the parts tolerance, testing environment.
* Headphone/Speaker output test was tested using a 123dB level recording device that support Balanced input.
* The Line-In result is the Loop-back testing result with the Headphone output.
X-Fi BRAVURA Loop-back test guideline
- We recommend to use Windows Vista, 7 for the RMAA testing.
- We recommend to use the shortest cable line for Loop-back testing.
- Audio Console Setup:
- Set your Speakers Configuration to 2/2.1 Speakers
- Disable all Bass Management features
- Disable all EAX effects features.
- Disable all CMSS-3D features.
- Disable all EQ features.
- Select Line-In for FlexiJack Mode
- “OFF” all monitor options in Mixer
- Set Volume from 75 ~ 80. (Because X-Fi Bravura 7.1 output level is higher than the Line input level)
- Windows default format setting:
- The output device (Speakers, Headphones)’s Default Format must be the same as for the sample-rate and bit of what you want to do the RMAA testing.
- Also, the input device(Line-In)’s Default Format must be the same as for the sample-rate and bit of what you want to do the RMAA testing.
- In one test, Input and Output default format must be the same.
